Evening all, new to this and I doubt this will be my last question. Anyway I get quite a loud squeak when turning on full lock (both sides), any pointers as to where I should be looking? Or is it a "live with it" answer? Many thanks

PAS belt or pump. When the steering is at full lock, the system is at it's highest pressure and the pump is under the most stress. Tightening the PAS belt should stop it, if not, your pump may be on it's way out.

It's not a good thing to hold any power steering system on full lock for any length of time, just back off a tad on the wheel but check that belt.

Do you have non standard wheels like alloys etc, when boosts where fitted there was a noise on full lock each side, it was caused by the little bolt on rear of hub that stops wheel touching axels on full lock. Hope this helps

If there's a very noticeable noise or clunk when you hit the lock-stops, I'd be checking your linkages and bushes as hitting the lock-stop shouldn't make much noise really.

When wider tyres where fitted to the boosts the lock stop had to be adjusted as the bigger tyres touched axel
