Dashboard and instrument cluster lights

Hello. The lights on the dash board and instrument cluster sometimes go out when driving with lights turned on. The head lights also fliker slightly sometimes. Dash lights sometimes go out the come back on and sometimes do not come back on. Any ideas where i should start looking for the fault? Thanks

An issue with the light switch, or the wiring to it would be my first guess.

Hi. Thanks. Ive taken instrument cluster suround off and gained access to the multiplug behind instrument cluster. Not sure where to start looking. Dont want to make things worse. Are the light storks prone to failure?

If all the lights in the Ipack (dash) are affected, and the front lights too, then it's unlikely to be in the Ipack.

It's already got an issue, so it's unlikely to be made worse, unless you start cutting wires, or breaking connectors.

Not prone to failure, but they can suffer bad connections sometimes. The switch is the place to start looking IMO.

Ok thanks. I will start at the switch and see what i find.
