Decided my dash needs updating and thought i'd splash out on a raptor one. Land Rover 90 with what i'm told is a TD5 bulkhead and a TD5 dash. It would seem raptor ones won't fit my dash (the large ones you can fit a CB/Radio etc in)but they do the same type of one that came out of it.
So, does anyone know what else is available sub £100 to fit mine?

Mmmm, i assume the lack of response means there's nothing else available then!

Wonder if an older dash will fit instead of the TD5?

I've fitted a raptor in my td5 bulkhead. Careful measuring and cutting. I'll sort some pics.

Well worth doing.

I have been through the same problem! Options are very limited.

Raptor do a faceplate which will screw into/onto what you posted above, you can have it customised to fit anything you wish.

The other option is what I did and is more involved but overall gives a little more. You can use the MUD/RDX plastic dashes which are meant for the pre 2002 Defenders, it will fit but it does require quite a fair bit grinding, sanding etc. Click my sig for pics of it fitted. In all honesty I would have spent more time thinking about the dash and fitted the Raptor plate!

Is there anyway a raptor dash can be fitted without hacking the bottom dash rail ?

I have been considering one for a while, but having to cut the bottom rail puts me off, as well as the loss of air through the dash flap...

The bottom rail has to be cut unless you'd prefer to cut the raptor. Only slight restriction in air flow through the driver's flap.

So the raptor dash could have a slot cut in it to fit around the bottom rail of the dash ? I would assume that would limit you to only being able to use switch gear or gauges on the bottom panel as opposed to CB or radio ?

Thanks guys, seems a go-er then. I don't use the air vents, they are bolted shut, so don't need to worry about those.
