Dash Lights flashing car will not start

I'm hopping this is just a dead battery, but get in the hippo this morning opened all the windows, radio on turn the key and all the warning lights started flashing dials jumping from side to side and nothing would not start, is this how batteries die, had something similar on a BMW and it turn out to the crank shaft senser.

Mine did this the other day & was the battery that had died , Was a halfords 4 year warranty battery & was 3 1/2 years old , They tested and gave me a new one , I fitted that and all was good !

Have you tested the voltage of the battery ?

flat battery deffo. if it was the crank sensor it would turn over but not fire

Remember the rear window drops when you fit new battery & you have to press both keyfobs a few times !
