After a visit to a local miltary vehicle restoration firm, i was casually trekking down the unmade road that leads to his workshops, then what felt like i drove over a large brick/rock and a lot of knocking noises, this happened ...



Its fooked, now, iv been on paddocks, and fir a set of 4, pro comp gas shocks +4", is around £155. I dont begrudge paying this money, but im wondering if they will work ok with my 4" lift, 2 in springs & 2 in the dislocation cones. I have also cut 2" out of the front turrets and will be buying some drop plates to relocate the rear shock mounting position.

How much lift have you got in total?

4" .. As above .. +2 on the springs and custom made cones have a 2" lift as well

Anyone have the knowledge i crave ?

Ebay. If there +4" then tbey have to fit.

extended brake hoses might be worth looking into too.
