Long time lurker, competent searcher, learnt a lot (thanks, everyone) but now baffled.
Disco doesn't fire on at least one cylinder after a totally cold start. Misfire remains no matter how hot the engine gets - provided I don't switch it off.
BUT... if I switch off and restart it once it's warm, it runs normally! It only needs to be lukewarm for this to work - about 2 gentle miles is all it takes.
I've got very limited mechanical skills/facilities (and no Hawkeye/Nanocom). First off, checked for oil at the ECU: perfectly clean and dry. Second off: this post!
Any clues welcome.
And if anyone can recommend an independent in the Aberystwyth area, that would also be very welcome.
