D2 Sport mode

I know the Sport Mode selector is supposed to change the revs at which the auto transmission changes, but does it alter the fuel flow through the ECU as well?

all it does is hold it in gear for longer and changes at higher rpm

Thanks CD, I was checking to see if it made any difference in accelleration etc, but found no descernable difference in performance regardless of the setting. Surprisingly enough it changed gear at the same revs either way, but then that's not that surprising when you give it a lot of welly and keep your boot into it.

(Note to self: Boot to firewall in a V8 is inversely proportionate to money in wallet for things other than petrol.)
