cruise control

i have a 05 hse auto without the cruise control i think it was a extra on the auto only!


is there a kit i could get to put it on my freelander?

Have a look at posts by gstuart as he has worked out what bits to buy and fitted it to his.

I would double check these but these are what I got.

Sbc100212 cruise control ECU "from a rover breaker"

Yuh500080puy cruise control on off switch by right knee next to the parking sensor switch

Yuh100740lnf steering wheel cruise control switches

That's if you have the wiring under the seat and steering already.

just adding this info .. as ..
i've been looking for a possible cruise-control for the 'manual' hippo1 td4 ..

just found this site .. birmingham based outfit

i've yet to inquire and confirm ..
but i get the impression fitment to a manual gearbox td4 would be possible
( as well as 'auto' )

bearmachs did list a cruise kit for freelandertd4 , but many have bought oem switches and made it work, sometimes they do need a software update to enable tho.
