Crashed & repaired. now have electrical issues

hey guys in the snow recently I plowed straight into a lamppost



i need a new inner wing as it took the brunt force, new headlight and indicator, grill, bumper, bonnet and wing

now whenever i switch on my headlights the hazards turn on and i cant switch them off unless i turn the engine off and restart it

it also doesn't flash the indicators when i lock the car any more, sometimes it also fails to lock... leaving me to put the key in the ignition start it, turn it off and try again

what could i possibly have tripped or shorted?

any help is appreciated

crash sensor, this is used in a crash to open the doors if locked and put the hazards on not sure where it is but someone will point you in the right direction

it was me and my dad who repaired the panel, but only temporarily until i can get a set of new inner wings and panels

ill let the pictures do the talking









you can see here the inner wing has crumpled and dropped, losing about an inch towards the bulkhead and about an inch its dropped



and its current condition...



ive removed the bumper as it was bent, and had to beat the panels into shape until funds arrive on pay day.

does anyone know where this crash sensor it?

is it called a crash sensor or bump sensor , whats the difference ??

whats causing the indicators not to flash when i lock the car? is there any actual fix apart from ignoring it?
