Does anyone know a courier that would deliver to scotland Iv30 1xu, my courier wants £100 for a 30kg x member!
 
Thanks for that, ive saved the link for future use though the customer told me he wont buy off someone who charges extra for the highlands and I aint making one at a loss to take up the difference in the postal charges!!
 
Where is the pick up postcode? Just asking as I will be in Chesterfield next Wednesday morning and then north of Aberdeen in the evening. If I can be of any help let me know.

re the whole highland charges.. some companies blatantly take the mick. So a fair few up northers get narked off.. in a lot of cases rightly so imo.

I agree but I cant do the job for less than cost just so I can keep the all in price the same as everyone else

Some clown the other week tried to tell me I was in the Highlands, before trying to tell me the postage would be dearer :mad::mad::mad: Only after much mucking about did they reluctantly back down:p:p
On the flip side, ordered some chain oil and stuff from Devon (i think it was), which was free delivery, and that was delivered 23hrs after I placed the order:eek::eek::eek:
 
I dont get how a few miles north of inverness costs twice as much to post to as spain or three times more than germany

No was expecting you to make anything for a loss.

The point is I am not giving you extra money so you can pass it on to a ripoff courier. Why should I? You loose a sale (which you say you dont make much on, so no biggy) The courier makes an extra £50. I loose £50 to support so greedy bastard share holder of some probably foreign ownd company....I dont think so!!!

Its the same price to London or Wick from Hongkong, China, Paddocks or Island 4x4 :) Its you that stands to loose most, what you should do is tell your courier that you lost a sale because of the prices they charge, which you did, then if they took any notice of their customers they just might change their rip off ways. Then you should tell your MP that is cheaper to post something from China to Scotland than it is from England then ask him if he wants you to shift manufacture to China as you cant compete in this ripoff country :)

Oh and Im not North of Inverness. We are the width of the pavement from the main Aberdeen/Inverness road roughly half way between the 2.

I havent got the volume of paddock or whoever to get good prices, I pay £17 for what they call zone 1 £25 for europe and £36 was the cheapest quote I got for you , I bet paddock dont even pay £5
 
Think I better put a sign on my website saying I dont ship to jock land to save being labeled as the bad guy and wasting peoples time
