Hi again all out there,
As I've sad, just swapped a burnt Perk for a working one and so-far all going well.
Only problem so far is that the belt seems waaaay to loose - I have the alternator as far over as I can get it on the arm ( it is currently nestled up against the engine mount ) and cannot get it over any further. As a result, it appears that it is the cause for my battery not getting any charge - truck has run a few times today, but every start has taken longer until no charge at all - charge light does not glow at all whilst running.
So it seems a new belt is in order - mine has no markings, but is a 'notched' A/V shaped belt.
Can anyone supply me with correct numbers for a part, or a belt that I could harvest from a breaker that would fit ?
Thanks in advance

You might be best off measuring the run with string, cutting the string to length and then measuring that, you can then find out what length belt you need and start from there.
