I work for Vauxhall (sorry) we've had a few newer auto Asstary's with gear oil cooler probs, oil cooler linked to the rad big mess. And some early Vectra's had a prob with coolant fed oil cooler's by filterhousing as well.

Hi
Finally got the car sorted,not been about this forum for sometime but have fallen in love again.When she goes she does it well.At the end of the day all that was needed was an oil cooler and job done.Not as expensive as first thought and fingers crossed there is not another prob for a while.At the end it is a Freelander.

surely not taken 6 months ? I know freelanders have a bad reputation but that seems a bit extreme !
