Hi guys
I'm in the middle of making a parts list for fitting a Disco 200tdi engine to a new galv chassis ( full ground up Restoration but converting to a Disco 200tdi at the same time ) and asking what coolant hoses to use and what radiator to use 200 / 300, I know I have done this conversion myself before but that was at least 10 years ago using a 200 rad so just wondering if anything has changed since doing this conversion :)

200 rad as the 300 has both ports on near side and 200 rad has one on each side ,as for pipes i chopped up the old pipes from the donor car as the proper kit from parkes isnt cheap

There isn't a single answer. And not sure why you think things would have changed since you did it last. It's not as if the donor vehicle will have matured in that time or now operate differently.

You could use a Series rad, you could use a 200 rad, you could do something different. Entirely depends on your final setup, money, time and fabrication abilities.

I used the 200 rad, details in my build thread in my sig. :)

We need a new section.

Botched Series Land Rovers (for those who dont like series land rovers and want to change everything)

:p:D:p:D:rolleyes:

I just thought there mite be a newer better solution to the hoses like a hose that works better ( plumbing in ) as I remember using flexi hoses from Halfords when I last did mine but can't think what the part number is now and as christdt mentioned Steve Parker do a Def 200 to S11a hose kit which I didn't know about till he mentioned it so I mite look into that :)
