im just about to start my 300tdi conversion on the 90 that I have recently bought.

I have decided that im going to go down the 24v route! so if any body can tell me where I can get a 24v wiper motor & blower motor that would be greatly appreciated (without having to re mortgage)

I would say you are going to have to source Wolf 24V parts and pay for the privilege. Ok, lights are no problem and you have already identified heater, wiper motor etc but don't forget the starter, heated window (if fitted), glow-plugs, washer pump etc etc.
Even LR didn't bother with 24V vehicle systems on the pre-Wolf 90/110's, unlike the S111 FFR's they replaced they ran a separate 24V system for the radios while the vehicle remained 12V, it is only with the introduction of the Wolf that they went to 24V throughout again.

The only reason I can think of wanting 24V is for a serious winch and if that is the case, why not run a separate 24V generator & batteries?

The reason behind 24 over 12 is quite simple.

I run a commercial breakdown recovery company and I'm going to use this as part of my fleet. So it would be bonus for me to have 24 for jump starts etc and also there is the winch side as well.

So if you know where I can get a wiper motor & fan let me know

Easiest and possibly cheapest route long term is a separate 24v bank with a dedicated 12v to 24v battery charger such as a sterling power unit. Vehicle stays standard but you have your 24v bank for jumping commercials.

As above have said it may be cheaper and easier to keep the vehicle electrics 12v but have a separate 24v system for jumping, etc.

yeah i would have to agree with having a separate system for 24v. my landy is 24v and it just makes everything more expensive...

Well if you want to sell me the 24v parts I'd happily replace them with 12v & some £

Thanks for the offer, but as much as it's a pain in the arse, I am quite attached to her as she is.

If it helps though, I will look up the part numbers for you, is it just the fan and wiper motor you want?

okay, so the wiper motor is DLE000040.
and i take it you want the heater fan?
which is UTP2225 and its wire harness is UTP1906.

lots of cash though, might be worth looking in to getting one of these, then just fitting the 12v parts save you a lot of £, i think.

its what i am plaining on doing when i get around to fitting heated seats ect.

hope that helps.

Have you remembered the fuel cut-off solenoid? You either need a 24v one or measure it to work out what value series resistor to use. If you run a 12v one on 24v it will work for a short time but then leave you stranded somewhere.
