Hi
Ive been lurking for about a week now, just trying to pick up information about Discoveries, I dont own one as yet, me and the wife are looking to buy one pretty soon and do some simple mods for mainly greenlaning and normal day to day use.
About 15 years ago I bought an Imported Toyota Surf looking to do the same, I joined Wessex Hillrunners, but we had the dreaded Cracked head, and the engine block, after paying out for a re-con engine which suffred severe turbo lag I gave up on ever taking it off road.
While I had the surf I realised that there wasnt many forums in the UK for Surfs so it was difficult ot get any info on them, so I decided to start one up Hilux Surf Forum - Powered by vBulletin which got too big for me to manage and I sold it on to the present owners.
So my fire has been rekindled and cant wait to get into a LR Discovery preferably a Discovery 2, and looking forward to making some contributions to the forum when we eventually get one.
