I have decided to have a clear out of old engines I've got kicking around the place, I'd rather shift the lot in one go but here is what I've got:
Three 11A ex Rover SD1 3.5V8 engines, and one RR classic 3.5V8 EFI. None of these are currently 100% complete, and one of the SD1 engines is in a pile of bits inside a wooden transit case. There is easily enough parts to make one good engine, if not two. I cannot make guarantees of the serviceability of these and indeed if I was going to use one it would get a good strip down and inspection. The RR classic engine has been sat outside under a tarp for a year and when I came to turn it over with a bar yesterday it was "stiff" so probably a little surface rust inside. One of the SD1 engines I think I've "cooked" it still runs but it boiled, the others I have never run in my ownership and do not know their mechanical state.
There are bound to be usable parts here including a complete twin su manifold, twin solex manifold and an early efi manifold. Alternators, starter motors, distributors etc. There really is a lot of V8 related stuff.
Make me an offer greater than the scrap value and they are all yours. I can deliver throughout Somerset for fuel cost or help load, I'm Near Glastonbury.
