Hi guys, i have read that the hawkeye code reader is the one to use but has anyone come across the icarsoft i930. Supposed to be for landrovers, as it is only £99. I was wondering if any good,
Many thanks Tonto

depends on your landrover.
Id be VERY sceptical if its for a TD5, and whilst it doesnt say so, id suspect its OBD2, which is not good for the TD5.

FULL DETAILS

"Supports all 96MY onward" check yr vin.

also, seeing as these are from the far east, id expect support to be minimal, to non existant if you have an issue.

Id go for the proper reader for the job

I bought two readers off the bay to read my Audi,Both claim they where capable of the job but didnt work

So I got a program off VAG.com made for the job

I found a video on you tube and it shows that it supports all LR MODELS,ive also found a few reviews, will look a little more, the guy emailed me back saying if it doesnt work on my disco 2 he would give me my money back,if i do decide on one i will keep you posted on performance ,cheers boys

it might read the ecm but thats probably all it will do on a td5 hawkeye or nanocom only tbh

Hi guys,i went to order one and they have sold out, i have emailed the manufacturers asking if they work and what functions work if they do,
Reply- they are asking their tech people and are getting back to me,
Ps they are saying that they work on all of the petrol models tho, so will wait for the reply
