clutch

hi ive just bought a v reg 1999 freelander 2.0d older type engine and it has a low biteing point on the clutch i was going to replace the clutch but spoke to a couple of people and they have said to replace the hydrolic system so not sure what to do now does anyone know what its more likely to be also is the any way of changing the glow plugs without removing the diesel pump would be greatful of any help
