Can anyone help, Following a clutch and clutch arm replacement now I cannot get a clutch pedal at all I've bleed it a few times now
I am now very frustrated
Help

If the slave cylinder is old u will not be able to "resuscitate" it after u took it off it's position... the seal within gets disturbed due to internal wear of the cylinder body cos the pressure pushed it over after the pushrod released the piston.... put a new one if u know it's old. If it's new stick the pedal to the floor with something over night

Stick a piece of wood or something between the pedal and the seat to keep it depressed for a longer period(min.4 hours)...the seals within the cylinder used to reposition themselves and the air goes up and leave the system through the reservoir... but if the slave is old/worn this trick doesnt work aswell

All put new slave cylinder on and fully bled now got a pedal with about 1/2 - 3/4" play at the top then pressure but the clutch still won't disengage
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance

I’ve had exactly the same problem, mine is a disco 1 200tdi I changed the clutch, master cylinder and slave, would it bleed properly NO, I tried the one man none return valve method very poor clutch, I found I had to pump the pedal like blazes to get any type of clutch, I then borrowed a easy bleed kit from a mate, but first I took the clutch damper out of line and connected directly to the slave, the damper is a waste of space and just adds to the problem, connected up the easy bleed pushed pedal got clutch. The feed pipe from the master fits into the slave, taking the damper out of line will not cause you any problems at all.

All would the spigot bush being tight cause drive and inability to disengage the clutch?
Also does anyone live in Cumbria that has a endoscope?

Spigot will not cause any interference with clutch movement, as long as you fitted the clutch correctly your problem lies with air in the system.
