Is the heater in a 93 v8 classic meant to blow hot through the front vents, or just through the windscreen vents?

It only blows hot through the window vents, but not the dash? Tried all combinations of sliders, but its always cold through the front?

TIA>

mine only blows hot through the window vents too, its daft as I have a heated screen but am cold!

mind you the heater doesnt blow very hot at all

The heater blows really hot on the windows, that is compared to a soft top defender though!

Just comes out stone cold from the fascia vents, guessing its all working correct then?

Cheers, that solves that then!! :)

Other thing is, the brake pad warning light has come on, saying the pad is low, but it isn't, it flickers on an off intermittantly, i'm thinking faulty pad? Any ideas?

If it is the pad warning light, check the rear pads as well as the front. Also check the earth for the sensor. If it is the red warning light then you need to check fluid level and hand brake switch. If you suspect a dodgy pad a quick check with a multi meter will tell you.

Its the pad warning light....Will have a nose tomorrow if i get time, thanks for the advice. :)

The other, other thing was, does anyone know where to get warning stickers, for under the bonnet from?

Ta.

nah, when I used to do more on BMW's a few people doing restorations on early cars went to reprographic/sign shops and had replicas made up

Heater works through window vents and foot well vents (front and Rear)
A/C / Fresh air works through dash vents

As for stickers. If they are still pliable you should be able to stick them back down with something like carpet glue spray, or similar. Superglue etc etc.
Over spray can be clean off using tfr or meths. (on a cotton bud)

The overspray won't shift, tried claying it and that hasnt worked either...really want new ones :)

Ta for the info about the heater :)
