while driving back from work the other day, disco started to loose power for no aparent reason. got home, stopped it, went to start and took ages to re-start. looked in engine bay and found the priming lever on feul pump had snapped off. lucky i kept old pump and put that back on. broken pump was only about 6 months old which cost about £12. just shows cheap isnt always better. going to buy a delphi next time which i should have done in the first place:doh:

It wast by any chance a Britpart, was it? I used to wonder how they got away with it,then I found out that they had the MOD contract to supply the forces with LR parts. And as we know, its vitally important that our fighting men and women have the cheapest,flimsy-est equipment possible.Otherwise how would company directors get knighted and civil servants get their OBE?
