Just fitted a set of Cooper STT tyres to our 110. They seem to be reasonably priced at the moment from various places online. I have to say fair play to Paddock's their service was excellent. I've never had Cooper tyres before but initial impressions are good. They seem to be well behaved on the road and not noisy. My daily routine takes me into various amounts of mud and so far so good on that score. Time will tell.

I had cooper STT like you said work well in conditions the only thing i found was that i didn't get many miles out of them compared to the BFG would be interesting to see how many you get.

They look very decent value. Slightly tempted to replace my BFG AT's as they are starting to look like road tyres, though might have to wait until after Christmas. Why are the 185s so much more money? I was going to go with them this time as planning on doing some sand driving at some point, but can't justify the price.

I've had BFG's before and they are the bench mark really. The old pattern mud terrain ones I had gave me an easy 50.000 miles and were still plenty legal for the road even if they had lost their usefulness in the mud. If the Coopers last for say 30.000 they'll be similar value for money based on what they cost to buy. I'm going to rotate them every now and then and make sure my tracking is good and we'll see how they do.

I've had to pull my 16ft trailer across two very wet and muddy fields and through some deepish water filled ruts this morning and I have to say the STT's did a very impressive job. Didn't lose traction at all and I was able to steer out of some ruts without any difficulty.
