changing door handles on L322

my door handles are pretty worn and scratched and am considering some genuine replacements (as opposed to the stick on covers)

I'm guessing I will need to take the inner door cards off to do this? And has anyone done it, if so, how hard a job is it?

it is an easy job, remove the door cards, you need a 10mm spanner and a torx bit extention to loosen the handles from the door

Sounds good, I was worried I would have to wrestle with air bag disabling and such ?. I have a complete kit of replacement handles 4xFRH500010 (handles) + 1xCWL 500010LPO (drivers door lock casing)
maybe I will come up with the courage to get going.

However this more elaborate detailing on how to actually get the handles out tells that easy job is a subjective thing.
