The filter is fitted to the N/S inner wing. It looks like the assembly (pump and filter) are contained with a black plastic cover and is held to the wing by 4 x 12mm nuts. Has anyone changed the filter and how easy was it. The 4 nuts are really difficult to remove. Is there an easier way? How do you remove the filter please? Thanks..GMZEZ

There is a small phillips screw in the middle and the hole lot comes off

Mine was missing and it just clipped into place, Wasn;t bad getting off but almost became a spanner chucking excercise to get back on

After all that i couldnt unscrew the canistor and need a strap wrench so i put it all back together as the filter was a Non Landrover so must have been changed at some point

Will replace next summer, new filter now in garage

Does the screw enter through the gap (slightly left of centre) between the pump and filter. I cant see one or a hole... Does anyone have a pici from a manual that shows it exactly please? Thanks....ED
