Central locking problem 2.4TDCI

Hi all,
I have a problem with my alarm and central locking.
The other day I locked it with my fob. When I came back it wouldnt unlock. The spare set still worked so i used that.
Today the same thing has happened to my spare set and the main set still doesn't work.
The alarm will not disarm but just turning the key in the lock and i'm not sure if there is a way round.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Two possibilities;
The batteries in the fobs are worn out and need replacing. The owners handbook will tell you how to replace the battery and re-synchronise the fob.
The car battery is down on voltage, if it drops too low the central locking won't work. Again the owners handbook has the battery disconnect procedure and fob re-synchronising after reconnection.
Rule these out first.

Hi Wimblowdriver,
I have had the fob batteries replaced and I dont think that the car battery is low, although it probably needs changing soon as it is 3-4 years old.
Ill see if I can re sync the fobs to the ecu. Do you know where abouts in the handbook I can find it?

Just an update. it seems like the fob died as it wouldnt re-pair ordered a new one.
