As for getting it back home? I'm not sure if it's covered by the insurance policy but I'll be checking it all when I get back to France.

Ah food of kings. Just been to a grill with the missus, lovely night out.

All chocked up, wheels in the air, and props/VCU removed.

As expected the IRD must be buggered as it still won't drive.

I have a 'mini-adventure' to Wales in a couple of weeks to pick another one up (same year half the mileage) as a replacement - have to decide if I keep this as spares or sell as is.

And, yes. I'll be buying a VCU and bearing from Bell prontoish...

drive it back in 2wd, just in case the same happens again.
