Cant get anymore than 20.3mpg

2003, TD6, 41,000 miles and even on longe journeys I cannot get any more than 20.3mpg as an average.

I have not got a heavy foot by any means, as I could achieve 28mpg from my previous Disco TD5.

Any ideas?

I have no idea, but i drove my uncles TD6 to devon and got an average of 31.3mpg and i had a pretty heavy foot.

I have a 2002 TD6 and with a light right foot have had it displaying 32 mpg (on one occasion) at worst have had it as low as 19 mpg (on autobahn cruising at 100mph) averages daily commute 26 - 28 mpg.

How long have you had it? How have you worked out your figures?

Only had it 2 weeks but have now done 2 tanks of fuel. I have been making a note of how many litres goes into how many miles I am doing.

It is pretty much mirroring the fuel consumption display.

Have you reset your computer display on each trip? in order to double check your own figures

If so your mileage is very poor! As you have only had it for two weeks I'd be taking it back to the garage I bought it from? and get them to check it out!
