Ive tried to look this up but seems the right answer was never given but someone must have done this.
I want to change the bolts on my 2003 td4 which secure the caliper to the ends of the sliding/guide pins as the heads on mine are gettin fooked due to rust. I picked up part SYG000010 from local landy dealer today but got bolts much bigger than what I require....hmm. I have checked online and cant find correct item at all, they are small bolts with a 12mm hex head. I also ordered SEE100340 which is the guide pin kits but this doesnt include the bolts.
Anyone any idea of a part number?

Cheers NoDosh, this brings up part SYG000010.This is whati picked up from local lr dealer which I was sure were too big. Turns out they are, I also have lr genuine guide pins whichi know are correct by comparison and the threads on pins and bolts arent even close...the plot thickens.

I would have picked the same part number as No Dosh for the caliper mount bolts, the only other option appears to be STC 1914 but that is for vehicles up to ( V ) YA999999.

Might be worth a look if someone has fitted the earlier pins ?

If you pm me yer vin plate and tell me what bolt/thing yer want I can look it up in mico cat may 2014

There are two variants. Up to VIN YA999999 and from 1A000001.

Have a look here: Freelander 1998-2006 Models Brakes Parts

Thanks, this link shows guide pins and I do have the pin set for my year, 2003, the one with the rubbers on. Looking again at parts last night im pretty sure the internal threads, into which the guide pin bolts would be inserted are m8 fine, 1.0mm pitch. The stc 1914 bolts look correct but always state they are for earlier models. I have vented discs etc and no reason to believe theres been any monkey business. Find itvery strange that none of the parts companies list these bolts alongside the pin sets.

I think the reason for the bolts not being listed seperately is that the correct type new bolts are usually supplied with the pads.
Unfortunately I never got any with my mintex disc and pad set. Altho at time of buying I wasnt aware of state of bolts.

I've had main dealer and non main dealer pads for ma hippo and never received the bolts with them. Had to order them separately.

Just replaced the pads on my 2000 solid disc Freelander and the Mintex pads came with two bolts and the backing shims - why only 2 though and the heads were a different size , 13mm IIRC whereas those fitted were 12mm af.

I think they only come with 2 bolts as they're thinking you'll undo 1 bolt and turn the metal bit for access.
