:censored: :D I've probably just brought a ninety C-REG with a 200tdi, chassis needs work but I'm ok with that as body and bulkhead is good it's a van hard top. but I was thinking of making it a BOWLER OR TOMCAT, WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THIS? and how much would I get for the one piece doors and the rest of the body and what do I do with current chassis? front is solid but rear half needs replaced?

PS any idea's on tomcat body cost's? this would be done on a budget so second-hand parts.
any help would be great thanks

I don't think the words Bowler or Tomcat are really compatible with the word budget :cool:

let me think about this.

you want to take a vehicle with a suspect chassis and a good body works and bulkhead.

then get rid of the 2 good parts and build it into a space frame on a ropey chassis ?

your not making any sense !

So you want a C reg 200 tdi Bowler with a ropey chassis?
You are talking about the Bowler EXR right? I think the tdi might be a little underpowered.

Here is the spec for a tomcat type build. Might give you an idea of how to approach this.

well basically the man who owns it at the min has said I can pay up and work on it in the mean time and use his tractor for lifting it's bit and bob, £110 a month up £825 so far I have £155 saved for her, it's a van hard top, low miles, 200TDI Disco engine, discovery 1 steel wheels (5 of them) C-REG, one piece early 90/110 doors MINT, wheel carrying bonnet, GREAT bulkhead, chassis needs some TLC, had a new clutch when engine put in, and the VERY SEXY galvi side caps, so I was hoping to RESTORE and modify but I wont have the budget so, I will be selling the 200TDI for a N/A 12J. oh and the body is PREtty straight. SOOOOOOOOOOOO very excited.
