What a pompus prick. No responsible person is going to do work on a vehile if they dont feel confident in doing it. Also nobody on here is going to put a vehicle on the road after they done any work on it that not safe. I have done all the work on my cars, if im not sure on something I ask a mechanic of advice or to do it for me. I would not be prepaired to put my self in danger, let alone anyone else. A person who thinks that every problem has to go to a dealer, proberly doesnt do basic ckecks on their vehicle, in my opnion are more dangerous
 
Mathew have you ever had your range rover up to the door handles in mud, or is it one of those shiney one,s that never get driven in anger, you no, what they are designed for. You obviously wanted a range rover because all of your hoyty toyty friends use them to take rupert and agitha to boarding school in and you wanted to conform, like most upper class tits. Most of us on this forum bought ours because they are fun, easy to fix and in most cases(!) unbreakable. I broke mine cocking about, it was in a safe, controlled enviroment(?), there were other like minded people there, watching, even willing me on,and i had a good laugh doing it. If you dont like what we do or say why dont you go away, we wont miss you honest :)

p.s you really need to get out more, you are obviously in more dire need of a blow job, than any white man in history, a complete waste of skin, why not go out on sunday and get it really dirty, perhaps even do a green lane or 2, you never no , you might even enjoy it !;)

Try tell Greshams kids that. Oh ya can't can ya as his irresponsible repairs and erratic driving, killed em.. :doh:
 
no probably a piece of **** but most people do a good job and are responsible drivers etc if your not careful you will end up with it been illegal for home servicing etc,people die every day through lack of money ,incompetence ,how often are people killed in lrs compared with other ,it would be better for me if people couldnt do there own jobs ,

I shall rephrase that then. The vast majority of people. I dont know anything about the terrible incident, but yes there will be people out there who do things badly. But most will do things to a good standard, and in the correct way
 
Well I believe home servicing should be illegal. If a chap is to do repairs on your heating system he has to be corgi registrered yet any idiot with a spanner can atempt repairs on a car then drive it down a public highway. This can't be right and needs to be changed.
No Dave I have never drove my Range Rover in such a manner if anything my car valeter would not be happy but this definitely not my idea of fun and if anybody who thinks it is are severly lacking something and need to grow up.
John, I'm not a 'fudge pounder' as you put it. I'm happly married with two children but I do have a lot of gay friends. It's funny they used to make fun of homosexuals, they later explained it was because they were insecure about their feelings. So John is there anything you would like to tell the forum? I will forgve your comments and you will be met with understanding.

making home servicing illegal wont make the roads safer just the whole area of car ownership more expensive with more money made by the selling of certification etc, iknow many trained mechanics that wouldnt let work on my car and many amateurs i would be happy too,its an easy thing to say nowadays where freedoms are lost to what is unnecessary interferance and regulation of which much doesnt help ,you have to have a degree to become a nurse i dont think it improves quality of nurses but the reverse and the same in many areas of life ,its a sign that the person calling for such regultation isnt the type of person to be given any responsibility in anything if you want to save lives go and get rid of excessive form filling, tick boxes ,
 
well martin, i,m a mechanic, been around cars all my life, only been into land rovers since october, so i thought id,e ask for another opinion or 2, and it proved to be worth my while, i got pointed in the rite direction and got a bloody good laugh, my "valeter" doesnt mind me getting my lanndy dirty(its a jet wash), but if i wanted to/could afford to pay sombody to then they would clean it watever condition it was in. The gay thing, arnt all you thespian/ part time actor luvy ****s stuck up each other anyway ?:):):):):):):):):):):):p:):):):):):):):):):):)

Im Gas Safe registered, CORGI not the registration anymore, and until the end of april I was an emergency engineer for Southern Gas Networks, previously Transco. I came across more dangerous works carried out by the supposed "better" firms. Im not going to name them, but needless to say they well known. And point of note, you only need to be Gas Safe to work on gas. Chap I work with took his van into a garage, it now going to be writen off, as the garage let it fall off the ramp, and have bent it.

This has surely got to be a troll?

if your gas fitter is corgi resteried he aint legal, he might kil you and your family.
As for this being bob, i suspect not, oddie or treestump maybe but bob has recarnated him self as 2 stroke im sure...:pop2:
