Part number for height adjustment switch is YUB101210 but not listed at Rimmers. So hobby horse **** comes to mind.

Do you mean "seat base finisher" AWR1088? This available from brit-car.co.uk. This is the single adjustment version.
Is it just the plastic knob which is broken? I fixed mine with a bit of an allen key and a well-known 2-part adhesive. [That should invite some lewd comments! Go on.... resist the temptation!]
