Why are you so against "made in India". Have you any idea of the size of the automotive industry in India?
tens of thousands of vehicles are produced and with mainly Indian built engines.
I am sure if there were engine problems of vast proportions it would be heard about.
Very unlikely I will ever own a D3 and I am sure 4x4/Britpart are giving warranty on the crankshaft.
Just my thoughts.

With all due respect where did I say I was against India , I was referring to the word britpart as per title

Of course I know how much Is made in India , erm TATA

Crankshafts are snapping in D3 and D4 and JLR are aware, yet aren’t interested, very well documented

In my experience Britpart used to live up to it name as Sh””tpart because most of it was poo... nowadays it’s good stuff as far as I’m aware

Must admit I wouldn’t trust a britpart item inside an engine , turner engineering were selling cranks at £2k but now discontinued them , don’t know why

Alas think britparts reputation has been really damaged and think it will take time

Most of there stuff is genuine, it just comes in a blue box saying poopart on it

Has been a good while since I bought a britpart item ,alas heard more bad stories than good about them

Know there’s a mixed opinion of there parts, for me I wouldn’t ever touch them

Don’t know personally what items britpart ever fitted at the factory as a genuine Land Rover part , apologises if I’m reading it wrong
