Brighter Headlight Bulbs

Hi All,
could someone tell me the brightest bulbs i can put into my headlights,and can i go straight to xenons or does this require a lot of work. I have a 2008 TDV6 SE,

Osram night breaker plus bulbs are very good if you want to change the bulbs. Dont know about xenons.
