L322 Brake pipe replacement

Hi all,
Got a low brake fluid warning today and looking underneath one of the rears is weeping from the pipe.
I've had new flexies on the shelf for around 6 months but never got around to fitting them as they were corroded to the rigid.
I'm more than capable of doing them but have a 3 questions.

1. Looking at previous posts, it seems that the cheap flaring tools are not great. Lots of ebay links to better ones but they're all our of date.
Can someone with one of the decent ones post a pic of theirs please so I know what to buy?

2. Are there any specific sized unions that I will need or is there an "assortment" kit that will have what I need?

3. It seems cuprunickel is the recommended pipe, anyone got any recommendations for suppliers. Bear in mind I need this rapidly so ebay probably not my best option.
Not too fussed on price within reason.

Sorry fella, I can't help as I have a budget one that does a good job either way. A little brake fluid on the pipe end your flaring goes a long way but a good tool goes further.
Do you have any where that can buy a tool in of your choice?

Not fussed where I get one, I'll even use halfrauds if I have to!
Plenty of the cheap ones on amazon so if they work OK, I might just get one of those.

Just cut your pipes à little longer so if you do get a duff flare you can cut if off without any worries. ;)
 
30 years of making off MI and armoured cable glands, better looking at it than for it is one of my mottos!
 
Thanks Brian, they have both those types on amazon.
I'll try our local factors tomorrow first as I'll get it quicker that way, if they don't have, I'll order off amazon.
 
I am looking at them to do the lines over the fuel tank and to the axle on my p38, just getting all the bits ready to do pipes and hoses all in one go as bleeding is a faf.

I bought one at the local factors, only one of the cheapy ones {15 quid) but seems to work OK.
One side more or less finished now, other side will be done tomorrow.
Took longer to get the bloody fuel tank cover off than replacing the pipe!
I'm sure land rover have a special supplier of pre-corroded bolts!

When I did mine I ended up replacing the chassis to body and the réar arm rubber brake lines aswell. They all broke the pipe ends in the brake flexibles...
