Hello out there!

Looking for a bit of advice about brake discs and pads please.

Its time to change the discs and pads on my 04 TD4 Sport, I've had a look on fleabay and there appears to be alot of choice on manufacturers, Looks like I need a bit of assistance and advice as to which ones you guys would suggest are good and what to avoid, fleabay or otherwise, might do the rear shoes aswell while I'm at it.

Thanks in advance - Freely3:)

Not had good experience with EBC Greenstuff...

I did have ceramic Redstuff pads on another car though, and they were amazing, once the pads bedded in, and stopped squealing...

Got green stuff on my D2 they're hopeless. Gonna bin em and put pagid or similar in. They fade something terrible and you can't do an emergency stop without them overheating. That's on drilled and grooved discs front and rear! The old knackered ones stopped it better! This is my second time with them and never again!

Bought Mintex pads and discs from Paddock Motors @ £70 delivered. We have just done both our TD4's but fitted new lower guide pins on one as existing were rather stiff. Guide pins are part number SEE100340 and very different to the guide pins used on non vented disc brakes.
