Hi All

I seem to recall reading on here that if you want to bleed the brakes on a Freelander they have a slightly different procedure to most other cars? Is that right?

Many thanks

The brake system on the FL is a dual one meaning that if one side fails you can still get home on reduced braking from the remaining side.

have bled the system before but cant remeber sequence off hand. Dont have haynes manual with me. You can get a bleed kit about £6 which allows you to do the job single handed

Thanks anyway I do have ahaynes manual at home and I've got an easy bleed and will use that. I think it just needs a little fluid let out the fronts. But I thought what the hell i may as renew the fluid. Then i recalled seeing a picture posted on here showing an unconventional bleed sequence? I'm sure it was a Land Rover document? I've probably got it all arse upwards as usual.
