Hi folks,
I'm attempting to make some adjustments to my injection pump but the internals of the boost compensator are badly corroded; the diaphragm is stuck to the spring, which in turn is stuck to the starwheel .
Should the diaphragm just lift out? There's plenty of room to get a lever in there but I don't want to try until I know the risks.
Thanks for reading!

Hopefully you made a note of where the diaphragm was to start with?. Try spinning it around for a full 360 degrees so that the eccentric cone will push the metering pin back in its housing and make removal easier.

It should just lift out but you may find it's a little stuck around the edges. You should be able to free it off just using your fingers. If it needs a lever I wouldn't risk it as it will most likely tear the rubber and make it useless.
