Hi Folks, looking for some help with the tub cappings, both sides are beyond repair on my 110 CSW '89' vintage, been trying to source the correct parts, found what I think is the correct part numbers for the cappings, problem being finding someone who has them in stock, but i can find the one piece cappings in stock, does anyone know if its ok to use the one piece capping instead of the two piece one?? are they different?? I've listed the part numbers below.

2 piece R/h MWC4662 & MWC3316
2 piece L/h MWC4663 & MWC3317

1 piece R/h AMN 710440
1 piece L/h AMN 710450

Thanks in advance

think they only produce the 1 piece now, i had to use the 1 piece on my 110 hard top, they worked ok

I replaced mine last year and they were one piece, I had galvanised mine and wished I hadn't as they got a little warped and were not easy to fit without a large agricultural adjustment tool :(

i am tempted to do this to mine before i paint.. i have seen a few different prices from about 60-90.. whats the difference!?

Thanks for the coments guys. look like the one piece ones then, now just to get the old ones off, not looking forward to that as looks like sealer or something between them, might try heating them up a bit

As for difference between the prices, looks like mostly genuine one are in the 90quid a side and might! be galvanised and everything elses falls into the 60quid bracket same again they maybe galvinised on not.

After having mine galvanised and the hastle I had, if I had to do it again I would not galvanise them at all. I would make sure that they were coated properly and save my money for something else.

I got second hand 2 piece cappings for me 110 from either John craddock or paddocks don't think they were that expensive and don't forget to put sealer back on when you replace
