lol... I won't quote your reply to him, he's been there over 30 years. If my crank goes now, I'll just put that down to the 183k on the clock and the fact that it has a 2500ft climb to work most weeks.
I take it the PC Valve is in behind the three bolts at the other end of the top casing, or does it require the whole top part to be replaced...?
It's not that common for M47R iron crank to break, but it's not unheard of.

The PC valve is at the other end of the breather assembly. ;)
