bird just reversed in to my 110! :)

just run out of me mates house to investigate the bang i heard, and found the young lass from down the road sobbing her heart out coz she just reversed her nice shiney mg zx into the back of me 110. damage to her car is a broken rear bumper, bent in the boot floor and slam panel, rear light cluster, totaled tailgate and glass every where. damage to landy, **** all
think she may of written hers off bless her. shes got 2 nice lines imprinted on the boot lid from the ladder for me roof rack and a nice round hole in the bumper from the exhaust
came to bits nicely!
so tommorow will be spent seeing if hers is fixable and continuing to try and tell her she aint damaged mine at all

on another note, cambrian autos landrover dealership in aberystwyth, went in today to ask if they could give me a paint code for betty and had the response "no idea mate, youll have to go to a specialist", i then asked if they could order me a set of lower door seals and also got "no chance matey youll have to go to a specialist" surely a landrover agent with a parts department is a specialist? bout as much use as a fart in a hurricane.

no didnt take pics as it was pitch black, but im going to take some when i go up later. have to realy as damage was pretty spectacular
on closer inspection of the landy in day light theres still no damage

any thing ever to have crashed in the back of my 110 was another landy, a member on here in fact :O handbrake didnt work when he got out whilst laning and it rolled straight into the back of mine. a fair old clout, damaged his offside wing, lights, etc and sweet FA to mine - mine has light guards on it which definitely helped!

the bloke who had mine before me reversed it through a garden wall... it put a crease in the rear quarter but that was the only damage it did to the landy the wall was ****ed tho

they are solid things arent they. i like the whole land rover safety idea.

i got the whole exchange in my head at the land rover drawing table

"hey boss, shouldnt we start to put in things like crumple zones like the other cars and 4x4's are doing these days?"

i had one that said your skid stops here but the dog got it before i got chance to put it on

yea summit like that. the way people tailgate is mental. if they knew how much of a nutjob i was they probably wouldnt do it.

How ****in fast was she reversing????

not very fast at all, its just made of **** all think she was trying to get it in to gear properly or something? and wasnt concerntrating. to be honest you can press the steel and it moves! frightninly ****e construction.
i did mutter should a got a landy as she sobbed into me shoulder dont think it helped
