Best say hello

Thought I'd say a quick hi, been a creeper for a few days now scrolling the forum for information, currently looking for my first discovery and to give myself a project, currently driving an audi A3 black edition and all I've done to that and wanted to do was remove the rear wiper. Before that I'd had a mk4 golf that I'd fitted a 2.8v6 engine in. Still miss the fun of that car. Hopefully I'll find a discovery soon and get a build thread going .

Well got myself a disco1 300tdi last week, for its year it seams near enough solid.
Only bit of rust I could find was behind the battery housing so not all bad.
Loving every minute of driving it so far.

Well done on your purchase . Have you checked the boot floor?

Boot floor has already been patched but not by much. Chassis is nice and solid so looking at undersealing it in the next few weeks. Anyone got any recomendations? Don't want something that will dry hard as it may chip or something like waxoil that will always be a bit tacky if I'm right in thinking that.
