Seen these on sevaral Landies, and some not particularly challenge vehicles either.
The question i ask is `Are they an extreme activity accessory, or do they have a valid function on mostly road going with some offroad playtime vehicles?`
I like the look of them, but dont wanna look too posy ;)
 
A ha... of course whay did you not say so... I have no idea what you mean unless its this....

they ar expensive and your rim will need a lot of work :D

as wilts stated, useless unless your running very low pressures over very rough terrain. They just stop your tyre rolling off the rim.

For the majority of people who do air down (a little and temporarily), these are not neccessary IMO.

Sorry for the confusion, I was told they were called bead protectors.
