Battery died and warning lights on.

My tc and abs lights came on I turned the engine off then it wouldn't start. I left it then she started again. I turned off but i just get a clicking. The batery is now on charge. And ill get themultimeter out tomorrow. But why wouldbit just die like that?

Sometimes they do, could be alternator either but the colder weathers prob got to it, although I did have a similar issue a while ago and it was the starter wires that had corroded a bit..

My battery died a few weeks ago.

It had been absolutely fine, but changing the fuel filter did it for me. It would not accept a charge after I had flattened it. It wouldn't keep a charge after it had been on charge for many hours.

Got a new battery.




All has been well since then.
