It still sounds like a rear diff nose bush.......they defiantly changed it?.
What year is yer hippo, early ones suffered from the rear sub frame bolts pulling through which coul cause a bang else if it's a clunk not a bang could it a fecked drive shaft cv joint. If you drive and change gear smoothly not accelerating hard is the noise still there or does it just happen under hard acceleration?
