Guys, I've taken a few screws out to try and get my new gear gator off but I'm stuck.

So far I've

Removed two from sides pointing outside of the car.

Ive taken the heater knobs off and taken them two.

Removed radio and taken two more out there.

I have taken out 4 surround the heater part.

I did find a bit of a guide which said there is one in the center somewhere but I cant find it. It defo feels stuck in the middle of the console. Searched all over here and google.

Sorted, I didn't realise I had to remove all the buttons etc. My center screw was missing but not too bothered as there are plenty more around.

Lift the lid of the cubby box and remove 4 screws.
Pull up the inside of the cubby box and remove.
Loosen the bolts holding the cubby box to the floor and slide it back a bit.
Lift up plastic trim (2 inch square) below hand brake handle and remove the 2 screws under it.
Pull on auto level handle and it will come off/up. It's tight but will pull off. Be careful. I think you have to hold the large button at the top in, whilst doing this. Can't remember for sure.
Now plastic trim around the auto level should be more free for you to lift it up a bit. It hooks under the heater switch section plastic sides so you need to sort of unhook this.
Poke out lever position lights and HDC button from underneath and disconnect both wiring looms.
Trim around auto lever should now lift up.

I was busy typing while yer answered yer own question.

Humm, well I did it but I ended up taking off all the clips on the center console to actually get it all out Not something I wanna do again lol. Was convinced I'd put them all back in the wrong order and have the rear window heating my bum lol.

The other half was on the case with me last night so she wouldn't go to bed until it was done. Not great though. The new gator doesn't have the metal frame around the bottom keeping it in place so we put it all back in and now it's come off again. Think it might need gluing in place or something.
