Hi all,
This is a bit of an urgent matter. Need the Rangie for a undelayabe trip tomorrow. One of the autobox cooler pipes has been rubing against the fan belt which ceated a hole in it- result: autobox oil everywhere in the engine bay and the uderside.
My quick question: Is the hose pressurised? as my only way of fixing it tonight is cuting the damaged section off and attaching a temporary hose in place with jublee clips???
If someone could help me on this one I would really be grateful!

Thanks!!!

Just did some fast google search and seen that the D2 pipes run under 2 Bar of pressure, prpbably the P38 is similar?
Will try an find some coolant hose and use 2 clips at either end, and attach them to the metal sections of the pipe on the vehicle. In total it should be round a foot long.
I'm panicking! 1000 miles is ahead of the vehicle tomorrow :frusty:
