I posted a couple of weeks ago Land Rover Zone - Search Results about using my ash try to hold loose change and coins for parking meters - but that the ashtray had jammed and I couldn't get it open. I received a couple of suggestions but actually never got round to trying them out. However, I had to pop into a shop today and my wife was sitting in the car and decided to interfere. She got a bit of thin card - inserted along the top of the ashy tray joogled it around and the ash tray seemd to open a wee bit. She pushed on it and it opened - by the time I got back she had counted £19.42 in coins and poscketed it as a service charge.
Thought I let others know of another potential solution to this problem.:)
