Are all Discos seven seaters?

Are all Discos seven seaters or was the extra 2 an extra an can u get em to fit if tha one I'm goin to looook at hasn't got em.

i know the ES models are 7 seats, i have seen models below that which also have the 2 dickie seats in the back tho, but i couldnt say for sure thats just my 2p

Pretty sure the pockets and seats are interchangeable, unless you really need them i'd not be too bothered though - i'm taking one of mine out when i do me cupboards...

Might fit mine then

Mine was a seven seater, those two daft bloody things in the back got taken out soon after I got it. Have you tried changing a bloody bulb with them daft things in place.

The other daft thing about them!
I usually remove the top two bolts to drop the seat back down out of the way, but then I have sausage fingers...

I'm getting rid of the seat and the plastic trim behind it, have you seen how much room is taken up by that thing? Then i'll build a small hinged door into the cabinet to access the bulbs.

Disco's were sold as 5 or 7-seaters, Disco 1's had the two seats in the 3rd row facing each other, Disco 2's had the facing fowards.

You can retro-fit them, RAVE carries full instructions for the Disco 2, haven't looked at Disco 1.

There are plenty of breakers with stuff on ebay. Disco 2's had swing-down head restraints for the 3rd row seats.

I looked for one without 7 seats as they were not needed. Not knowing a lot about Discos I found that it was the higher spec vehicle that tended to have them fitted.

A right pain having to undo the top seat retainer's


Our's is an S spec model with 7 seat's. (1 above basic model I think, with alloy's/airbags but no sun roof's or inside electrickery)

Disco II's are quite involved to add the extra seats, if you are on a budget and are still at the 'looking at' stage then best look at those with, its a whole lot quicker and easier!

If this one hasn't got em I'll stick a couple of milking stools in

All five door D1's were fitted with seven seats as standard, but for early three door disco's they were an option.

mines a 5 seater, just got storage boxes either side...great fer storing yer bits..leaves the enormous bootspace free.
