I have looked at the guide but it doesn't say if i will have to lift it to fit this tyre sixe. any info appreciated i see a few of you run them.
Thanks Danny

I posed the same question to a off roading geek that i know a while ago. He said they would be ok, but if i wanted to do any proper off roading then i would need a 2" lift and some trimming of the wheel arches.

Disco Tire Fitting Guide

The link above was posted by Redhand some time back and has all the info you could want on Disco tyre fittings. According to that, you'll need to trim the rear arches and front bumper end-caps for the them to fit.

And he's dead right too ;) .............. you'll also need to adjust the steering stops as well to stop the tyres hitting the front suspension arms ;)

If offroading is planned you'll need to lift it too ;)

i heard this trick (but not done it)

you get a pipe cutter and put a tiny score around your half shaft at the wheel end... then if it's gonna shear it'll go there and it's easier to fish it out.

no magnets on a broom handle and all that!!!

yet to break one myself, as I wear me ballet shoes when drivin me landy!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

As already stated above .................... why weaken an already weak link???? ................. thing with the internet is it's full of good advice and some ............... well .......................... not so good

Think if i was getting to the point of scoring driveshafts to make em easy to get out when i break em i'd do one of 3 things..............

1. Buy tougher shafts

2. Learn to drive off road properly

3. Give up Landy's and take up cross stitch instead :p
