Anti roll bar

Hi all,im in the process of swsapping over all my bumpers,lights,guards e.t.c. from my 92 200tdi to my 96 disco my question is on my 96 there is a anti roll bar at the rear is it o.k to remove this so i can fit my tank guard,i mainly use the disco off road,also if removed is it a m.o.t requirement.

tis fine to remove it,they will only hamper articulation anyway.
there ok if ya do shed loads of road miles
